[Taco gives Scott a Look and tucks his head next to his hind paws, but the fluffmonster Lulu wags her tail and gives Scott a "Ruff" in greeting.]

[When the puppy ventures out of the backpack, Blaze will crawl over curiously on his belly, haunches up and ready to play, craning his head out to meet her, his massive tail swishing excitedly. Growoooo~]

Hehe, it looks like Blaze likes her already.

_{[Awesome, Lulu it is. Scott greets her happily and then kinda curls up next to her, stretched out and content.]

[Molly meanwhile looks all kinds of sunshine when Blaze greets the new addition to their little group favorably, and the puppy lifts her head to sniff at his face.]}

Yeah!

I guess that means you don't have to borrow me Blaze anymore.

_{[A little teasing, but fondly, as she gathers up her backpack again and takes out her own sketchpad and a few pencils.]}

[Lulu woofs contentedly, draping her huge head over the furret, turning into a big fluffy pile of pink and cream and navy blue. They are the fluffy singularity. Shaun giggles, watching Blaze greet the new puppy. When her face gets close enough, Blaze licks her nose.]

I guess not. I think Blaze is happy to see another Growlithe.

[Shaun gets his own sketchbook and flips to a new page before he sits down on his bed, spreading out his handful of colored pencils next to him.]

_{[Puppy is a tiny bit startled but after a moment's pause she starts wagging her tail and steps up to Blaze properly.]}

At least he's not the only dog.

_{[She says lightly, as she plops down on her own bed, rolling over on her stomach to lean over the end of it and watch the dogs get to know each other.]}

Maybe I'll call her Ember. So they'll match.

[Blaze's tail starts wagging all the harder when the puppy's does, and his tongue lolls out as he lets out another playful growoooo.]

Yeah. I've got a lot of dogs, come to think of it.

[Shaun sticks the end of one of his colored pencils in his mouth and chews on it.]

Aww, that's cute! Ember and Blaze.

Did you have dogs back home?

_{[Just curiously. Cause maybe that's why he has a lot of them.]

[Puppy-maybe-Ember gives the tiniest squeak in response as she tries her voice for the first time, trying to mimic Blaze.]}

No... My mom was allergic. I had a bird for a while, though.

And me and my brother always wanted a dog.

[Blaze licks the puppy's head in response to the little squeak, laying flat down on the floor. grow-wow!]

We had fish. But that doesn't count.

_{[You can't pet fish, after all.]

[Aww cute. Puppy stops for a short moment and then curls up by his side, already a little tired. It's tough being new to the world, man.]}

Yeah, fish are cool looking but they're not really pets. I think a snake would be a cool pet, though.

...Maybe not the ones here.

[Seviper is 8'10" long.

Blaze looks surprised when puppy curls up next to him, but he relaxes and sets to licking her head affectionately.]

_{[Let her contemplate this for a second. She decides she's not super fond of the idea.]}

I think I'd rather have a cat. Or a bunny.

_{[Puppy yawns and curls up closer, content to rest for the moment. c:]}

But snakes are cool! Have you ever petted one before?

[Blaze continues grooming Puppy while Puppy falls asleep, imprinting her with the warm campfire smell of a cuddly Growlithe.]

What can you even do with a bunny?

More than you can with a snake! You can train them and stuff. You can't do that with snakes.

_{[TAKE THAT SHAUN god. You're such a boy. also no, she has not petted a snake, why would she.]}

Well yeah but snakes can unhinge their jaw like gryaaarrahhh [...accompanied with hand and exaggerated face motions] and swallow their prey whole!

_{[... OKAY FINE SHE LOOKS MORBIDLY IMPRESSED FOR LIKE. A full two seconds.]

[Then she points at him dramatically with one of her pencils.]}

That's not a pet!

_{[that is a wild animal.]}

People keep them as pets all the time! They sell them at pet stores next to like the tarantulas and stuff.

Spiders aren't pets either! They're just spiders.

It's not like you can pet them or anything. You can't pet snakes either.
